Position 1: Admission Assistant  

Job Description:

-To work as part of our student recruitment team supporting the implementation of the school’s student recruitment and communications strategy.

-To take a lead role in planning, designing, delivering and evaluating internal and external recruitment and publicity events including open days, recruitment fairs and schools’ visits. Your work is directly related to delivering our student recruitment targets so it is essential that you integrate fully with the Bryant Zhuhai recruitment team. 

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s or higher degree;

2. Fluent Chinese and English, both written and spoken;

3. A professional manner and the social skill necessary to work in a multi-cultural environment;

4. Willing to work flexibly including evenings and weekends;

5. Willing to travel to participate in recruitment trips in China;

6. Excellent organizational skills to prioritize own workload and meet tight deadlines;

7. Excellent written and oral communication skills to give and receive information effectively by using a variety of methods and to communicate with a wide range of school faculty, staff, students and the general public;

8. Able to work as both as a team member and independently.  

 

Position 2: Student Affairs Officer 

 

 Job Description:

-To manage student residential halls;

-To manage student discipline and deal with disciplinary cases;

-To work with the Student Affairs Office of the University on a number of functions including,  but not limited to, Youth League affairs, scholarships and financial aid, military training, social insurance, etc.;

-To plan and implement a variety of student development activities;

-To supervise the operation and activities of Student Union, student clubs and societies;

-To offer student career development workshops and provide career guidance;

-To liaise with parents closely on students’ personal growth;

-To provide student counselling on a case-by-case basis;

-To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.  

Qualifications:

1. A master’s degree (overseas higher education background is preferred);

2. Fluent Chinese and English, both written and spoken;

3. Good communication skills;

4. Strong interest and ability in organizing events and activities;

5. Dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, punctual, creative, cooperative, reliable and conscientious;

6. Able to anticipate problems, identify and analyze available options and implement corrective actions.

7. Good interpersonal skills, exhibiting tact, diplomacy, flexibility and courtesy in a professional manner

8. Proven skills in establishing and maintaining accurate, organized records and files;

9. Able to balance multiple, often conflicting priorities with deadline constraints and numerous interruptions;

10. Able to maintain strict confidentiality;

11. Willing to work at weekend or whenever necessary.

 

Position 3: Administrative Assistant  

Job Description:

-To handle general office administration;

-To recruit students;

-To keep liaison with academics, students and other University departments;

-To assist in planning, developing and implementing strategic plan and policies for undergraduate students;

-To assist in student registration, record management, timetabling, classroom booking system, and administering examinations;

-To assist in other jobs assigned by the supervisor.  

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s or higher degree (overseas higher education background is preferred);

2. At least 1-year administrative or relevant experience, preferably with tertiary institutions;

3. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

4. Strong communication and crisis management skills;

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and social media;

6. Ability to work independently.

 

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on full-time fixed term contract. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
