Sino-U.S. College SUC is an institute of academic education established by Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai for collaborations with American universities in October 2016.

中美学院是北京理工大学珠海学院于201610月成立的一所专注于中美高校合作实施高等学历教育的学院。

Currently, SUC has developed several joint programs with American universities such as The University of New Mexico, Georgetown University, etc.

目前,中美学院已与美国多所大学开展联合培养项目,如:美国新墨西哥大学,乔治城大学等。

SUC will develop more joint programs with American universities in 2017. We expected faculty and staff who have passion and dreams to build a new school and to create a promising future for you and the nation.

Sino-U.S. College is inviting applications for positions of Admission Assistant, Student Affairs Officer, Student Counsellor, Administrative Assistant, Academic Affairs Assistant and IT Technician.

中美学院拟招聘岗位有:招生助理、学生事务导师及学生心理咨询导师、行政助理、教务助理、信息中心技术人员等。

 

Position 1: Admission Assistant

岗位1:招生助理

Job Description:

工作内容

1. To work as part of our student recruitment team supporting the implementation of the school’s student recruitment strategy.

作为招生团队一员实施学院招生计划;

2. To take a lead role in planning, designing, delivering and evaluating internal and external recruitment and publicity events including open days, recruitment fairs and schools’ visits. Your work is directly related to delivering our student recruitment targets so it is essential that you integrate fully with the Sino-U.S. College recruitment team.

负责计划、推广、评估校内外相关招生事务及各类公众活动,如学院开放日、招生咨询会等

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s or higher degree;

2. Fluent Chinese and English, both written and spoken;

Position 2: Student Affairs Tutor

岗位2:学生事务导师

Job Description:

工作内容

1. To manage student residential halls;

负责学生宿舍相关事务;

2To manage student discipline and deal with disciplinary cases;

管理学生纪律,处理学生违纪事件;

3To work with the Student Affairs Office of the University on a number of functions including,  but not limited to, Youth League affairs, scholarships and financial aid, military training, social insurance, etc.;

参与处理学校学生事务处的各项工作,如共青团、奖学金、助学金、军训及社保等事务;

4To plan and implement a variety of student development activities;

计划并实施有益于学生身心发展的各类活动;

5To offer student career development workshops and provide career guidance;

开展学生实习项目,为学生提供未来职业规划服务;

6.To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.

完成学院内安排的其他工作。

Qualifications:

Position 3: Counsellor

岗位3:学生心理咨询导师

Job Description:

工作内容

Joining our Student Affairs Office, you will assist in the delivery of support for students with mental health difficulties, undertaking initial triage of student referrals and offering a confidential counselling service, referring to other support or external agencies as appropriate. You will draw upon your post-qualification experience as well as your strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills to make an active contribution to the quality and efficiency of the service.

作为学院学生事务办公室的一员,您需要协助解决学生精神心理问题,进行初步的学生心理健康状态鉴定及分类,并提供非公开学生咨询服务,推荐其他帮助或合适的校外心理健康咨询机构,利用工作经验和强大的组织、沟通及人际关系技巧为学生心理健康服务的质量及效率做出积极贡献。

As Counsellor you will:

岗位职责

1. Take responsibility for initial triage of student referrals to the Student Affairs Office

负责为学生事务办公室进行初步的学生心理健康状态分析;

2. Assess students for counselling and refer-on as appropriate

根据咨询内容,评估学生情况并采取相应措施;

3. Support admin staff who are the first point of contact for students in distress

协助困难学生及时联系行政工作人员开展相应的工作;

4. Contribute to the delivery of training and awareness workshops for university staff regarding mental health issues

为师生提供学生心理健康培训及讲座;

5. Support teaching work of the college.

协助学院的教学工作;

6. Maintain detailed records of the support provided to students

整理和保管学生来访约谈记录。

As Counsellor you will need:

1. A counselling or psychotherapy qualification at least up to Diploma in Counselling level, a relevant professional qualification in mental health (e.g. nursing with RMN or CPN specialties, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work with specialist mental health training)

具备心理咨询、心理治疗的心理学相关工作资格证;

2. Excellent record keeping skills

优秀的记录能力;

3. The ability to work efficiently and calmly in a pressurized environment.

能够高效镇定地在压力环境下工作。

 

Position 4: Administrative Assistant

岗位4:行政助理

Job Description:

工作内容

1. To handle general office administration;

处理学院办公室相关事务;

2. To keep liaison with academics, students and other university departments;

负责联络教师、学生及学院其他部门

3. To preparation and distribute of papers and agendas for committees and events;

准备、分发会议和活动的日程及相关文件;

4. To take minutes of events, committees and meetings as requested;

对会议内容进行记录和整理;

5. To assist in other jobs assigned by the supervisor.

完成学院安排的其它工作任务。

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s or higher degree (overseas higher education background is preferred);

学士及以上学位,有海外留学经历者优先;

2. At least 1-year administrative or relevant experience, preferably with tertiary institutions;

要求拥有一年及以上行政工作或相关经历,有高等院校工作经历者优先;

3. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

英语书写流利,口语表达能力强;

4. Strong communication and crisis management skills;

Position 5. Academic Affairs Assistant

岗位5:教务助理

Job Description:

工作内容

1. To organize college committee;

组织学院学术会议;

2. To assist in student registration, record management, timetabling, classroom booking system, and administering examinations;

协助学生注册工作,管理档案, 计划课程时间,安排学生考试及上课课室;协助收集,整理学生及课程相关文件;

3. To carry out all duties and responsibilities in line with university policies and procedures.

根据学校政策及程序完成相关任务及责任。

4. In addition to the above areas of responsibility, the post holder may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade of the post as required.

除上述职责外,任职者可能还需完成职责范围内其他工作。

5. Essentially, this role requires a flexible and pro-active candidate able to work on a variety of tasks within and outside of these main duties and responsibilities whilst working with an attention to detail to a professional standard.

Qualifications:

1. A Master's Degree level qualificationwork experience in Higher Education sector is preferred

Position 6 : IT Technician

岗位6:信息中心技术人员

Job Description

The IT technician makes sure a college's computer equipment is configured to conform to established guidelines. He or she maintains all terminals and peripherals including printers, modems, personal computers and data communications machines. Responsible for locating and ascertaining the nature of network errors using appropriate software, the IT technician is in charge of troubleshooting. Along with these duties, he or she fixes and replaces equipment when it is down. The position often requires the individual to be the authority on repairing equipment malfunctions and supplying necessary technical support. The job also entails keeping all computer supplies handy and available. In some cases, the IT technician monitors compliance with the college’s policy on end-users' network use.

信息中心技术人员需确保学院电脑设备配置符合现有指南。任职者需要负责维护终端及外围设备,包括打印机、调制解调器、个人电脑及数据通信机器。信息中心技术人员需要负责处理故障,查明并用适当软件解决网络程序错误。任职者还需修理或更换故障机器。此职位要求任职者精通如何修理故障设备及提供必要的技术支持。此工作同时需要保证所有电脑设备便利可用。一些情况下,信息中心技术人员需要监督终端用户的网络使用是否遵守学院规章制度。

Requirements for the Position

1. This position demands at least a bachelor’s degree. Excellent computer skills are necessary as well as the ability to solve problems and troubleshoot. Customer service experience is usually required. The computer support technician should have strong communication skills and be able to converse with and support those employees who are not technologically proficient.

此职位要求本科学历或以上。应聘者需要具备优秀的电脑技能及处理问题和故障的能力,通常也需要客户服务经验。负责电脑支持的技术人员要具备沟通能力,能够与不擅长技术设备的同事交流并为其提供技术帮助

2. The position also requires knowledge of basic hardware and software functions and networking.

此职位还要求任职者了解如何运用基本硬件和软件功能和网络 

Familiarity with different kinds of computer is also a requirement. The IT technician should be motivated with a mind attuned to detail. People who wish to become IT technicians should be willing to accept responsibility and be dependable. Knowledge of different versions of Microsoft, from Vista through Windows 10 is also essential.

要求熟悉不同类型的电脑信息,熟悉不同版本的办公软件和操作系统,需有注重细节的思维习惯,负责可靠。
